About ACLC's mission:
Everyday there are families in fear of losing their homes; children in fear of losing a parent to jail; and parents in fear of losing children to divorce. They deserve robust legal protection. ACLC makes quality legal representation available to families who would not otherwise have access to it. We also work in the fields of impact litigation, policy advocacy, and supporting community groups. Organizational culture:

The staff attorney will provide affordable legal services to clients who cannot afford market rate legal fees, assist with federal impact litigation, and participate in campaigns for policy reform.
Representing clients in state and federal court.
Full time schedule. Occasional evening and weekend hours.
Attorney will specialize in one or more practice areas, beginning with family law. Roughly half the workday will be cases involving divorce, child custody, protective orders, and adoption.
Attorneys already licensed in Texas, or who plan to be licensed by November 2019, will be considered.
A demonstrated interest in economic, social, and racial justice.
Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
$60,000 annual salary.
