Reinstatement of Parental Rights


A recent change in state law allows some parents to get their children back after the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) / Child Protective Services (CPS) has terminated their rights. Termination must have taken place at least two years ago and the child(ren) cannot have been adopted.
